More Easter Pictures!

I am finally taking the time to add more Easter pictures. Enjoy!

Time for a walk to wear off some of the dinner. We took up over half the road when we were walking side-by-side.

As you can see, it was a fun-filled day at the Daucsavage home!

Taylorism II

Surprise Party 008

Every once in a while my mom will send Taylor a card in the mail. She will include a few pieces of gum with the card and she always tapes them out in a row and writes a day of the week above each piece of gum. Taylor takes this very literally! For Easter my mom sent him an Easter Card with five pieces of gum for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Well, he forgot about the gum last Saturday and didn’t eat that piece of gum. He proceeded to eat the gum on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, but that piece of gum for Saturday was left in its place below the word Saturday. Each day this week Taylor would ask me “What day is it today?” “How many more days until Saturday?” Each day we counted down the days until Saturday. This morning was like all the others, “What day is it today?” SATURDAY! “Yes, I can have my gum today!” and Taylor enjoyed his Saturday gum right after breakfast this morning. I am not sure I know many adults, yet alone four-year-olds who have the will power to wait one whole week to enjoy a treat! This isn’t the first time Taylor has done this either, it has happened several times and each time is the same, he always waits until that day comes again. Now if we could only harness some of that patience for some other things, life would be a whole lot easier!

Ode to the Pitcher

Easter 061

The formula pitcher

For the past year we have been making our formula by the pitcher at least once a day and sometimes even twice a day. On the side of the pitcher are the directions for making the formula: Fill water to the line, add entire container of formula, mix well, and serve. On Sunday we made our last pitcher of formula! I am really enjoying not having to mix the formula everyday, but now the recycling of plastic milk jugs will be crazy! This pitcher has been a great pitcher for formula, but I will be glad to get it out of our refrigerator (only to make room for gallons of whole milk.)! We are still feeding the babies bottles before naps and bedtime, but hoping to graduate to just Sippy cups soon.

Happy Easter!

Trevor with Seth, Disa with Addilyn,

Taylor, Micah, Oliver

We hope all of you had a wonderful Easter! This year we enjoyed Easter with our G4 friends. (G4 stands for Games and Grub for Guys and Gals) We “formed” our little group about nine years ago. Back then our group included four couples and two kids. Now our group looks like this…

easter-with-friends

Still four couples, but now FOURTEEN KIDS (soon to be fifteen (not us Smile but our friends Katie and Edel)). Of those fourteen kids seven of them are one or younger!

Our Easter started our with all twenty-two of going to church, then back to our house where we ate an awesome turkey dinner, played outside, Easter egg hunt, and a nice walk around the neighborhood. Thankfully it was so nice outside (our house seems a whole lot bigger when we can use the deck and yard too.)

I have more Easter picture I will post later, just wanted to wish all of you a Happy Easter while I had a chance. Have a wonderful week!

13 Months!

I finally got the babies in for their one year check up. Everyone is growing like weeds and doing really well.

MOM 030

Addilyn

Now weighs 19lbs. 11oz.

Addilyn is pulling herself up on everything and walking along the furniture. She also crawls now rather than the army crawl.

MOM 028

Seth

Now weighs 20lbs. 3oz.

Seth loves to say “Hi and Bye” to everyone he sees, especially if we are standing by the front door. He is also crawling, pulling himself up, and walking along the furniture.

MOM 031

Oliver

Now weighs 20lbs. 8oz.

Oliver is becoming quite the walker. He is also quite aggressive with his brothers and sister. We can’t leave him alone with any of his siblings. Who knows what might happen if we do, biting, rolling over someone, or pulling hair could be part of it.

MOM 027

Micah

Now weighs 20lbs. 6oz.

Micah loves to wave at everyone. He also loves to play ball with anyone who will take the time to play.

MOM 032

Taylor was cold one morning, so he decided to get into one of the the babies sleep sacks, Amazingly he fit in it and got it zipped!

MOM 039

Taylor got his own umbrella and has been so excited to use it. It finally started raining today and despite the cold weather he went out with his umbrella, rain coat and boots, winter hat, and gloves and jumped in the puddles.

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

MOM Convention

MOM 021

Two weeks ago I was fortunate enough to get away to the Mother’s Of Multiples Convention in Duluth with my friend Nik who had twins in August. It was so strange leaving my family being the only time I have ever left Taylor was when I was in the hospital last year and I have only left the babies for one night. Trevor’s parents came down here for the weekend to help out with everything.

The theme for the weekend was “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun in 20-one-one.” It even included an 80's dance on Friday night. Considering I was only 14 in 1989, I didn’t really get into the 80’s style, but I sure enjoyed it at the convention and my hair really crimps well!

MOM 006

They went all out with the 80’s props!

MOM 008

Just making sure my hair stays crimped with some Aqua Net.

MOM 014

Showing of the beautiful crimped hair.

Saturday I went to Yoga, presentations, guest speakers, and enjoyed great food all weekend!

MOM 017

More great 80’s props!

Saturday night we went to Dubb Linn Irish Pub for some great food and a comedy show. It was an awesome Pub, delicious food, and fun night out!

MOM 018MOM 019

I really enjoyed sleeping the entire night Friday and Saturday, so now I should be well rested for the next year of being with my family! Ha, ha, ha!

Sunday morning before we left Duluth we had an awesome breakfast at Uncle Loui’s CafĂ©.

MOM 024

Waiting for our breakfast at the counter.

MOM 025

My breakfast for only $7.

MOM 026

My breakfast after I was finished. Great food, just not enough room in my stomach.

Nik and I are already looking forward to the MOM Convention next year in St. Cloud! Thanks husbands for letting us get away! Smile

Big Boy Bike

Taylor got a brand new big boy bike today! He absolutely loves his bike and thinks he is soooooo fast now. He does really well and now he will be able to go for walks with me and Gromit. If you notice, his bike is a John Deere bike. (Taylor loves anything John Deere. You should ask him to sing the John Deere song sometime.) It sure helps that Taylor is able to get outside more. He loves being outside.

walker and bike 005

He definitely looks like a big boy on this bike.

We have a Walker!

walker and bike 001

Oliver!

Last weekend Oliver started to take four or five steps away from the furniture. Each day he has been taking more and more steps. He thinks he is pretty big stuff now! Of course he isn’t completely steady on feet all the time, but he is getting better every day.

tunnel and shelves 004

Addilyn

Addilyn has started pulling herself up and she is trying to crawl instead of the army crawl. She loves going through big brothers tunnel and tent as you can see from the picture.

tunnel and shelves 015

Seth

Seth is now pulling himself up everywhere and walking along the furniture. He also really likes to take a bath with big brother now!

Micah

Micah is close to walking as well, but he is a little timid on taking a step without holding on to anything. He has a top tooth that has come in and he has one bottom tooth that is starting to come through.

We are really looking forward to the weather getting nicer so we can all start going for walks and exploring something more than just the family room.

Have a restful Sunday everyone!
