Happy New Year and Happy Winter!

It has been a busy year thus far, so I thought I would take some time to share what we have been up to in 2012 so far.

Being Addilyn had three Christmas Dresses this year, she had to get dressed up for our New Years Party!

We spent our New Years celebrating with friends. Six adults, 13 kids and 7 of the kids are under the age of two! You can imagine what our house was like.

Friday Night is movie night at our house. Last Friday Noah joined us for the movie and the boys had to wear their matching PJS for the movie.

The beginning of January we enrolled Taylor in Tae Kwon Do. After three weeks he was ready to take his first test to earn his uniform. We are very proud of this first achievement.

Today was the first time I took the kids outside to play in the snow. Thankfully I had a friend here to help get them ready to go and chase them around outside. At least in the winter with all their gear they can’t move very fast and they didn’t really even want to try.

Seth and Addilyn loved the snow!

Oliver is not very found of the snow as you will see in an upcoming picture. I really could leave his side today.

“Help, I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!”

I love watching the kids try to move in snow suits. It is way too cute!

The aftermath of seven kids and two adults playing outside. I think we are going to need a bigger mud room!

We hope your new year has started out well. We will continue to keep you posted on our family adventures in 2012.

Another Taylorism

So Taylor and his buddy Noah were playing yesterday and I over hear Taylor say "want to play pirates of the pair of jeans?" Noah responds, "it's not pirates of the pair of jeans, it's pirates of the care of beans." Jeans and beans be on the lookout if you come to the Daucsavage house, there are pirates after you!
