Happy Easter!

We spent our weekend enjoying one last visit from Auntie and Nede. They left for Africa today. We are praying for safe travels and good health as they make their way back  to Mozambique. Happy 3rd Birthday ASOM!

I can’t believe our babies are 3 already. The time has really flown by. We had a wonderful day with our families celebrating and getting ready for all five kids to be baptized the following day.

The highlights of our weekend:

Helping put the sprinkles on the cupcakes. I think there were more sprinkles on the counter and floor than on the cupcakes, but they sure had fun.

85 cupcakes and a cake for our friends 57th wedding anniversary.

On Sunday morning we celebrated the baptisms of ALL five of the kids. It was a wonderful day with our family and friends.

Taylor Lee is named after Papa (Terry Lee), so we chose Papa and Maama to be his Godparents.

Micah Dale is named after Brampa Dale, so we chose Meme and Brampa to be his Godparents

Oliver is named after my Grandfather Orville, so my Uncle Lee and Aunt Micki are his Godparents. Orville is my Mom and Uncle Lee’s Dad and Uncle Lee and Aunt Micki are my Godparents as well.

We chose Auntie DJ as Addilyn’s Godparent being Addi is named after me and Girls need to stick together!

Uncle Casey is Seth’s Godparent being Seth is named after Trevor and Casey’s Grandfathers.

All of our Godparents are perfect fits for our kids!

Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us and helped get everything ready for this day. It was a great day to celebrate! We are so blessed to have all of you in our lives.

March of Dimes Walk

Once again this year I have decided to do the March of Dimes Walk to help support babies who are born prematurely. For those of you who don’t know our family well, ASOM were born six weeks early, our nieces were born prematurely, and our friends who had Quadruplets a year and a half ago were born early as well. I am walking for these ten babies in particular, but for all babies! This year I have decided to form our own team called Our Lucky Ducks! Last year I was able to raise a little over $500 so this year I raised the goal to $600 (which is also our team goal) being this is the first year I have set up our own team.  I am looking forward to the walk again, which is Saturday, April 13. I hope the weather warms up by then!
