MOMS Convention and School Tour

This past weekend a good friend of mine and I were able to get out for TWO nights and attend the Mothers of Multiples Convention! As anticipated we had an awesome time. This year the theme was Red Carpet, so we glammed up and dressed up on Friday night and Saturday we attended workshops and enjoyed just being with 100 other moms with multiples. Only 360 days until the next convention (but whose counting Smile).

School Tour

Today Taylor, his preschool class and parents got to take a tour of where he will be attending Kindergarten next year in New London. He even got to eat lunch at school! Taylor was very excited and seemed right at home when were at the school. I can’t believe he will be starting school in the fall. I really enjoyed having him home with me this year. I have recently read in two different books this quote “The days are long, but the years are short.” This seems so relevant to me now. Where have the past five years gone?

School lunch is delicious!

I hope all of you are having as beautiful of a day as we are, 70 degrees, sunny, light breeze. It can’t get much better than that! Thanks for following us!

March of Dimes Walk

Today was the March of Dimes walk in St. Cloud and we had a great time. First, I want to thank everyone who supported me. I met my first goal of $200 the first week, so I changed my goal to $350 and met that Tuesday of this week. I then decided to try to make a goal of $500 and I am proud to say I was able to meet and exceed that goal! Thank you so much everyone for your support! I can’t wait to walk again next year. The weather was perfect, We actually got a little sunburn while we were out. Taylor came with me and I think he walked at least half of the 5 miles by himself and then would ride in our jogging stroller when he needed a break. I was so proud of him today. He even told me in the car on the way home, “Mom, when I got tired I just kept telling myself, you can do and keep going and I did.” That’s what a Mom and Coach LOVE TO HEAR! Jenny and our nieces came on the walk too. I really enjoyed getting so much time with them.

Sweat suits! I love seeing the kids in their sweat suits, I think we will be done wearing these suits soon. Just to clarify, Micah is wearing a Arizona State suit, NOT a Minnesota Gophers suit.

Poor Seth is sporting a tough cheek from a bite of Oliver’s after they were fighting over a car at the gym on Friday.

It is difficult to see here but Addilyn has a nice shiner from a graceful dance that landed her right into the corner of our toy kitchen.

WE NOW HAVE A FENCE!

Yesterday Trevor and Taylor built a fence in our backyard, so we can get outside a little more this summer. It is perfect and our backyard now looks like I am running a daycare center!

Another birthday party!

We had another birthday party yesterday with our friends and all of their kids yesterday (this is why we got the fence up yesterday.) We only had 17 kids at our house and twelve adults and we were even missing four kids. Maybe we are crazy, but we had a blast!

Despite the cooler weather than originally forecast we spend most of the party outside.

They really enjoyed their cake cones for the party.

Nutella

Being we are a peanut free house now (Seth is allergic to peanuts) we have to find something else to add to our toast. Nutella is a hit as you an see from the following pictures. Needless to say it makes it more difficult for clean up!
